All items coming in to CRMS must comply with addressing guidelines. For UBCO departments, this means that all incoming items must be labeled with the recipient name, the department name, the building address, the city, the province, and the postal code. If incoming items do not have the minimum requirements of recipient name, department name, and building address, then they may be returned to sender for re-addressing. CRMS will not research the location of recipients for incoming parcels using the faculty and staff directory due the the increasing volume of items we receive without proper address information. If you are having any issues with carriers claiming they are unable to address incoming items properly, please let us know. We would be happy to provide you with appropriately addressed samples you can show your carrier to ensure there are no future issues.
