What we Do
- Receive, sort, and deliver incoming Canada Post mail addressed to UBC
- Pick up inter-departmental and outgoing mail from across campus
- Act as an on-campus courier for UBC departments, faculty, and staff
- Provide free letter mail services to the Okanagan campus
- Keep postage and courier costs low for UBC by utilizing low negotiated courier and postage rates.
Who We Serve
We provide mail sorting and delivery service to departmental mail rooms across campus. We also provide no-markup outgoing mail and parcel services and inter-departmental mail transfers. We provide a low-cost on-campus courier to move time-sensitive or valuable items across campus everyday. We also deliver Xerox print jobs as well as Staples deliveries.
Campus Mail receives all mail and packages from Canada Post daily, sorts them into designated zones, and distributes them across UBC. Please note the following key details:
- Package Deliveries: Campus Mail does not sign for any packages. All deliveries from Canada Post are dropped off in secure cages.
- Tracking Updates: If your Canada Post tracking shows "delivered," it means your package has arrived at the Canada Post distribution center in Richmond. It typically takes 24 hours before it reaches Campus Mail.
- Sorting & Distribution: Once received, Campus Mail sorts the packages, and distribution across campus begins the following business days. Deliveries to residences occur twice a week.
- Package Pickup: UBC community members are welcome to pick up their packages at the Bookstore between 10 AM and 4 PM, Monday to Friday.
