Campus Mail – Okanagan Campus

What we do

Central Receiving and Mail Services in the Okanagan provides mail sorting and distribution of all incoming Canada Post mail and parcels free of charge to the entire UBC Okanagan campus. We provide pick up, sorting, and distribution of all inter-departmental mail. We also pick up and process all outgoing mail on behalf of departments, generally free of charge. Finally, we act as the central receiver for all goods entering the Okanagan campus, ensuring they are handled appropriately and are directed to the correct recipient.

Please note that the services of CRMS are for University business only. Personal items that are not for UBC use should not be delivered to the University.

We are located on the ground floor of the Library Building on the UBC Okanagan campus.

When we operate

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 3PM. We are closed on holidays.

Our service commitments

1) To have all properly addressed mail and parcels that are received by us distributed appropriately after only one business day of being received. Certain types of mail may require additional time during peak periods, such as bulk mail, advertisements, flyers, or pamphlets.
2) To provide safe and secure transportation of the University’s written communications no matter whom they are coming from, what they contain, or where they are going.
3) To work with the University community to provide mail solutions that meet their needs in the most cost effective, sustainable way possible.
4) To provide all of our services with the highest standards of customer service in mind.
